Hee hee... [ pleased, he chuckles to himself, then moves closer to her, enough to loop his arms around her midsection and lean his head against her. It's an odd thing to hear, an honest 'I love you' in his direction, and it kind of makes his innards feel like spaghetti. But in a pleasant way. He just doesn't think anyone else has ever said it to him before. For good reason, of course; Olivia's brave, he thinks, taking on someone like him. Or, alternatively crazy. ] I love you too! Even if you are crazy. Are you doing okay in Haven, Olivia?

[ olivia cries herself to sleep at night if she ever see's that.

there was a faint squeak at the contact and olivia felt her body stiffen, but it did relax pretty quickly. it was still odd for her to get touched, and even allow it, too. she managed a small smile and leaned closer to him. ]

I-I'm not crazy! [ she appears to be a little hurt by his words. ] And I'm managing.. somehow.

[ get used to it, Olivia, he's a cuddler. Henry makes a little noise of contentment when she lets him do it, nuzzling into her even more. She's so delicate and soft. A lot of girls looked that way, of course, but Olivia is the only one he's touched like this, and certainly the first woman he's really appreciated those traits in. Being with her gave him a feeling of comfort similar to that he'd felt when he was with the she-wolf years and years ago - similar, but not quite the same. This was something else.

Her line of defense only makes him giggle. ]

Aw, I'm teasing, you big goof! But I'm glad you're all right. [ he sighs against her lightly. ] I know you're kinda used to doom and gloom from being in the war, but Haven's different! I worry about you a lot. It's weird. I'm not used to worrying about anything!

[ Pursing her lips, she was smiling faintly and rested one of her hands on his. Her fingers trailed along his skin and then circled a little around the ring he wore. It was the ring that proved their love for each other, and bound each other together. ]

W-Well... it does make sense to worry here because anything can happen. Back home we would be able to stay away from danger if we could help it. But here? [ Olivia closes her eyes and sighs. ] It's impossible to tell.

[ his eyes idly follow the movement of her fingers to his wedding band. Man, he got married. Life sure is unpredictable. ]

Yeah, I guess that's it! It's easy to protect you from stuff like the Risen and bad guys, but those Yao guys can show up and yank you away any time without a peep. I was pretty mad when that happened.

Ah.. that's right.

[ It nearly slipped her mind that she had been here before and that she must have gotten her memories wiped before returning, or maybe when she did return home. Moving her hands, Olivia clenched them at her chest. She wished she could get those memories back now. ]

[ unsurprisingly, he doesn't read her reaction completely correctly; he glances up at her when she moves her hand away from his, narrow eyes looking faintly apologetic. ]

It's okay! I'm gonna pay 'em back for what they did to you ASAP! It's gonna be a real bloody affair, yup... So don't be sad.

Ah, no! Don't worry about them, or me. I don't want you to get hurt and... it's hard to know what they could do to you if you went directly to them.

[ sighing, olivia has a feeling he wouldn't give up so easily on that though. ]

[ she's got that right. He doesn't reply directly, only responding with a skeptical hum. ]

Maybe, but I betcha they can die, too! Otherwise they wouldn't be hiding from us. That's all that really matters.
